Connect

Business applications connected to SAP, Active Directory, Pimcore, Oracle and DB2

Larger companies run on core systems that other applications must respect: SAP for orders and finance, Active Directory for users, Pimcore for product data, Oracle or DB2 for records that go back decades. We build the applications around them and connect them through the interfaces those systems provide.

We work with the interfaces your IT team already exposes and approves, such as OData services or BAPIs for SAP, LDAP and Microsoft Entra ID for users, the Pimcore Data Hub for product data and direct SQL access for Oracle and DB2. We do not bypass the controls of a core system.

Before building, we agree with your IT team on credentials, test environments, data volumes and who is responsible for each side. Every exchange is logged so that both sides can check what happened.

What it can look like

Your application

SAPOrders, materials and prices through the OData services or BAPIs your SAP team provides.

Active DirectoryLogins and user groups, so access follows your existing directory.

PimcoreProducts, attributes and images through the Pimcore interfaces.

Oracle / DB2Records read and written with dedicated accounts and minimum rights.

What we deliver

  • SAP connections

Orders, materials, customers and documents read from or sent to SAP through the interfaces your SAP team provides.

  • Logins with Active Directory

Single sign-on and user groups from Microsoft Active Directory or Entra ID, so access follows your existing policies.

  • Product data from Pimcore

Products, attributes and images taken from Pimcore PIM and DAM and published to shops, catalogues or apps.

  • Oracle and DB2

Applications that read and write Oracle or DB2 data safely, and migrations from or to these databases.

  • Logging and documentation

A record of every exchange and documentation your IT team can keep.

Typical projects

  • Sales app on SAP data

Field sales check prices and stock from SAP and send orders back, without direct access to SAP screens.

  • Single sign-on for internal tools

Internal web applications open with the company login, and access follows Active Directory groups.

  • Catalogue from Pimcore

Product pages and PDF data sheets generated from Pimcore, always in step with the product data.

  • Active Directory and LDAP
  • Microsoft Entra ID
  • Pimcore PIM and DAM
  • Oracle

How we work

  1. Map the systems

We list the systems involved, which one owns each piece of data, how records are matched and what happens when one side is unavailable.

  2. Proposal with a fixed price

We reply in writing with the approach (API, webhook, database or file exchange), the stages and a fixed price.

  3. Trial run on a copy

The integration, automation or migration runs first against test data, and you check the result before anything touches live data.

  4. Go-live with monitoring

Every exchange is logged, failures are retried when that is safe and reported when they are not. You receive the documentation.

Price and payment

Payment terms

We ask for 50% to start and 50% on acceptance. The second half is due before go-live and before the source code is handed over. Larger projects are split into milestone payments.

Every proposal states a fixed price for the work it describes, agreed in writing before work starts. If the scope changes, we send a new written quote and wait for your approval before doing the extra work.

Prices exclude VAT.

Questions about this service

Do you change our SAP system?

No. We connect through the interfaces your SAP team provides or approves. Any change inside SAP stays with your SAP team or partner.

Can our staff log in with their company accounts?

Yes. Applications can use Microsoft Active Directory or Entra ID for single sign-on, with access based on existing groups.

We use Pimcore. What can you do with it?

We read and write product data and assets through the Pimcore interfaces and publish them to shops, apps, catalogues or other systems.

How is access to our core systems controlled?

With dedicated technical accounts and the minimum rights needed, agreed with your IT team, and with every exchange logged.
