Build

Web applications and portals for customers, partners and staff

A portal lets the people you work with do things themselves: check an order, download an invoice, book a slot, upload a document. We build web applications and portals that connect to your existing systems and handle logins and permissions properly.

The value of a portal depends on the data behind it. Before designing screens, we look at where the orders, documents or appointments live today and how the portal will read and update them: through an API, a shared database or a scheduled exchange.

We pay particular attention to the parts users notice: pages that open quickly, clear messages when something goes wrong, emails that actually arrive, and access that works the first time without a call to your office.

What we deliver

  • Secure logins and access rights

Accounts per customer or partner, invitations, password reset, two-step verification where needed and single sign-on for staff.

  • Self-service features

Order status, document downloads, bookings, requests and forms that reach the right person in your company.

  • Connection to your systems

Data read from and written to your management software, CRM or database, so nothing is typed twice.

  • Notifications

Emails sent on the events that matter, such as a confirmed order or a document ready to download.

  • Accessible, responsive pages

Layouts that work on phones and desktops and follow accessibility guidelines.

Typical projects

  • Order portal for business customers

Customers see their own prices, repeat past orders, follow deliveries and download invoices without phoning the office.

  • Booking system

Clients choose a free slot, receive a confirmation and a reminder, and staff see the day's schedule in one view.

  • Supplier document exchange

Suppliers upload certificates and delivery documents, which are checked, filed and linked to the right order.

Technologies

  • ASP.NET Core
  • Blazor
  • PHP
  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • HTML & CSS
  • SQL Server
  • MySQL
  • PostgreSQL
  • REST APIs

How we work

  1. A short written description

Tell us what the software should do, who will use it and which systems or data are involved. Existing spreadsheets, forms or screenshots help more than a long specification.

  2. Proposal with a fixed price

We reply in writing with the scope, the technology, the stages and a fixed price. If something is unclear, we ask in writing before quoting.

  3. A first module on your data

We build the part people will use most and your staff work with it before the rest is built, so the application is shaped by real use.

  4. Delivery in stages

Each stage is tested before it goes live. At the end you receive the source code and the documentation, and we can take care of maintenance.

Price and payment

Payment terms

We ask for 50% to start and 50% on acceptance. The second half is due before go-live and before the source code is handed over. Larger projects are split into milestone payments.

Every proposal states a fixed price for the work it describes, agreed in writing before work starts. If the scope changes, we send a new written quote and wait for your approval before doing the extra work.

Prices exclude VAT.

Questions about this service

Can the portal use the data in our existing software?

Usually, yes: through an API, a read-only database connection or scheduled file exchanges. The proposal states which method we will use and what it requires from your current system.

How are logins and passwords handled?

Passwords are stored only as secure hashes, sessions expire and two-step verification can be enabled. For your staff, logins can use Microsoft Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID.

Will it work on phones?

Yes. Every page is designed for small screens as well as for desktops.

Can features be added later?

Yes. We build the application in modules and document it, so new features can be added as separate, quoted stages.

For Access, Excel, VB6, Delphi or older .NET software, you receive a free written assessment within 48 hours of sending the file.

  1. Make a copy, with test data if you prefer.
  2. Attach it to the form or to an email, ideally as a password-protected archive with the password sent separately. If you ask, we sign an NDA first.
  3. Within 48 hours: the assessment and a fixed price for a pilot module.

We work from Italy.
